Creative Powers

We all believe in some shape or form that God, the Gods and or Greater Spirit created the Universe and our place in it was a divine spark brought to life. (No debate about the who or when or what did it, that’s not this kind of post.)

We all have the capacity to create. We are divine beings in many ways and the ability to create is but one wonderful skill. Are we not mini-divinities with this skill? Our minds are amazing gifts to us. We observe therefore decide what to do next, etc.

I was wondering do we even realize our potential? Do we maximize our productivity? Do we “Do” what we really say we are going to? Thereby make change in the world?

Do we measure our change by how large an impact we are going to see, or get gratification from? What can we do that is small yet, has a powerful impact that ripples out. Imagine the similar visual concept of tossing a pebble into a pond and watching how that simple action caused the ripple reaction. Effortless right?

So again I was posing myself this very question:  What can we do to be the creative one in our Universe and effect change.

I’ve been thinking of that a lot lately. I don’t know that the things that I do in a thought or actual action cause a major change. Yet, I have received feedback from many that I helped in some way to help get them over the proverbial hump. So I can think hard and long, am I being creative…The Universe seems to thinks so. And when in doubt it has responded to help me know I’m on the right track.

Well track, road or highway as long as I seem to get a nudge here or there I think my creative energy is being put to use. And whether my energy is manifested as words, healing prayers or hand crafted gifts I believe that my “Creative Powers” for making change in this world is alive and well.

This quote is one of my favorites.

5 Ways to Live a Fulfilling Life

Great post from Jack Flacco today. Be well and have a great week.

Jack Flacco

There is no trick to being happy.

Well, there is, but it has more to do with attitude. One can be a millionaire and be miserable. Money has nothing to do with it. Although, having money sure makes things easier. Still, as the old cliché goes, money does not buy happiness.

What about having the power to do just about anything? Will that bring happiness? Will that make for a fulfilling life—telling people what to do? I always thought those with the greatest power were those who served every day, unappreciated, ready and willing to surrender their lives for the downtrodden in society. At least, that is what I always thought.

I suppose there is more to leading a fulfilling life than having money and power.

There is, and it is much easier than you think.

Below is what has brought me to lead a fulfilling life filled with hope…
